Multidisciplinary artist Daniel Vlček focuses on the fusion of sound and his personal visual expression in his work. He visualizes sound recordings, vibrations, and their spatial propagation in subjective patterns, with resulting shapes often reminiscent of technical drawings of sound waves. The themes of his works frequently highlight the interplay of causes and consequences, comment on industrial production and its impact on ecosystems, and delve into objective perceptions of time, collective memory, information storage, and transformation processes.

Daniel Vlček is a member of the art collective Guma Guar and a co-founder of the Prague galleries Berlínské Model and Ferdinand Bauman Gallery. In his role as a curator, he has organized two group exhibitions dedicated to the reflection of sound in contemporary visual art (16-20,000 Hz, Meetfactory, Prague, 2013, with M. Vojtěchovský; In the Beginning Was Silence, Pilsen City Gallery, 2014).

He is also engaged in his original music production, performing in the electroacoustic duo Ba:zel, and individually under the alias Relaxcore. Daniel Vlček is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague, where he studied under Martin Mainer and Vladimír Skrepl, completed the New Media program under Veronika Bromová, and spent a semester at the Accademia di Brera in Milan under the guidance of Diego Espozito.

Multidisciplinární umělec Daniel Vlček se ve své tvorbě zaměřuje na spojení zvuku a jeho osobního vizuálního vyjádření. V jeho pracích vizualizuje zvukové záznamy, vibrace a jejich prostorové šíření v subjektivních vzorech, přičemž výsledné tvary často připomínají technické kresby zvukových vln. Témata jeho prací často zdůrazňují vzájemný vztah příčin a následků, komentují průmyslovou výrobu a její dopad na ekosystémy a zkoumají objektivní vnímání času, kolektivní paměť, ukládání informací a transformační procesy.

Daniel Vlček je členem umělecké skupiny Guma Guar a spoluzakladatelem pražských galerií Berlínské Model a Galerie Ferdinanda Bauman. V roli kurátora připravil dvě skupinové výstavy věnované reflexi zvuku v současném vizuálním umění (16-20,000 Hz, Meetfactory, Praha, 2013, s M. Vojtěchovským; Na počátku bylo ticho, Galerie města Plzně, 2014).

Rovněž se věnuje vlastní hudební produkci, vystupuje v elektroakustickém duu Ba:zel a samostatně pod pseudonymem Relaxcore. Daniel Vlček je absolventem Akademie výtvarných umění v Praze, kde studoval u Martina Mainera a Vladimíra Skrepla, absolvoval obor Nová média pod vedením Veroniky Bromové a strávil jeden semestr na Accademia di Brera v Miláně pod vedením Diega Espozita.
